1 cup apple cider per serving
Add one cup of apple cider for each serving
Apple cider is a good source of vitamin C, dietary fiber and antioxidants. In fact, it contains the highest amount of antioxidant flavonoids out of all fruit juices! It also has beneficial phytonutrients such as quercetin (which is known to reduce inflammation) and phenolic acids that help protect against oxidative stress. Lastly, apple cider contains potassium—a mineral essential for maintaining healthy blood pressure levels.
- Apple cider has anti inflammatory properties
- Apple cider usually comes from unfiltered pressed apples with very little added sugar
- Warm apple cider is a great winter treat
1 cup of nearly boiling water per serving
then add 2 cups of water just below boiling temp
- use filtered water, if possible
- use a pot to boil the water
- Keep the water just below the temperature required to boil it
- Reverse osmosis water will make the kratom stronger
1/2 lime or lemon per serving, juiced
Add the juice of a lime or lemon.
Use a citrus juicer or squeeze to extract the juice from your lime or lemon. The citric acid in the fruit helps to break down the kratom so that your body can absorb it. If you don’t have a citrus juicer, you can use a reamer or fork instead. The resulting juice will be tart, but if that’s not your thing just add some honey to sweeten it up!
You may have heard that lime juice has anti-inflammatory properties, and this is because of its Vitamin C content. It also contains citric acid which helps with detoxification.

1/2 tsp turmeric powder per serving (or a few slices of fresh turmeric)

Add honey or maple syrup to sweeten to taste (or your favorite sweetener)
If you choose to add honey or maple syrup, I recommend adding it after the tea is done steeping.
They both have a great flavor and are natural sweeteners.
Both of these options can help boost your immune system, which is one reason why we’re using turmeric in this recipe! Turmeric has been shown to improve cardiovascular health, relieve arthritis pain and inflammation, reduce cancer risk and protect against Alzheimer’s disease.
- Honey is a natural topical antibiotic

½ tsp cinnamon powder
Now it’s time to add the cinnamon. Cinnamon is a traditional ingredient in apple cider and can also help relieve pain, boost immunity, and increase blood flow. It’s also a great source of antioxidants and fiber. Cinnamon is good for you and it tastes great!
Cinnamon contains calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and zinc—all essential nutrients that play important roles in your health. According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), cinnamon may lower cholesterol levels by stimulating bile production or helping block the absorption of dietary fat; it may also reduce inflammation by inhibiting cytokine production or decreasing leukotriene synthesis.

- Cinnamon contains several key minerals responsible for a healthy body
- Cinnamon can also help boost your immune system during flu season
Mix in the desired amount of kratom
Measure out the desired amount of kratom powder ( everyone is different but for most people about a teaspoon per serving or per cup of water is fine, then mix thoroughly with a spoon until the kratom is evenly distributed throughout your cup. You may want to add more for increased potency or less if you’re looking for milder effects; however, we recommend starting with this dosage and adjusting from there based on how well it works for you.
